| Ahoy! At last...a clean and simple solution to removing anti-fouling paint from boat hulls. Soy-Strip is FAST too. Boat owners who have used Soy-Strip report their boats are back in the water 2-3 days quicker than using a sanding method. That's right, Soy-Strip eliminates the need for extensive sanding, and eliminates all the potential damage sanding can cause to the gel coat. It will not burn or blister your skin! Best of all, this Soybean based professional stripper is ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY TO YOU AND YOUR MARINE LIFE. Just clean the marine particles off. Brush or airless spray on an 1/8" thick coat of Soy-Strip and let it sit on the surface to soften the coatings. Test the surface every 20-30 minutes. Reaction time varies with coatings being removed. Longer working time allows for easier removal. Outdoor or overnight wet time is prolonged by covering project with a 2 mil plastic light poly, even though Soy-Stip has a very low evaporation rate. Softened coatings can be removed with a nylon scrub pad & scraper with water but a water power washer is faster and easier. Reapply to any areas if needed. Clean all areas up completely with clean water. Dispose of removed marine coatings according to local regulations. Soy-Strip alone is completely safe for any landfill and will not harm marine life. If any dulling occurs on fiberglass, restore luster with a rubbing compound. Do not leave on fiberglass more than 8 hours without checking from time to time. Not for use on PVC. |
